For example, I'll turn off the back-up for my Ted app. A while back, I saved a video for offline viewing but I don't need that on my new iPad. When you are done adjusting these options for each app, go back to storage and back-up and tap back-up now and if you're low in battery, you should connect to an AC adapter.

Now, you are ready to move into your new iPad. When you first turn it on, you'll be taken through a series of set-up options. Along the way, you'll be given the option to set it up as a new iPad, restore from iCloud or restore from an iTunes back-up. Select the iCloud options. Then sign-in with the same Apple ID from your previous iPad and the data you chose to back-up from the first part of this process will be downloaded on to your shiny new device and if you plan to sell your old iPad, don't forget to completely erase it, transfer apps to new ipad icloud.
